Me….

Welcome to my blog. I am a Dynamics AX developer by day and a social recluse video game player by night! I’ll be posting interesting tips, tricks and code I come across during the daily grind.

About me:

I am a qualified level 300 Dynamics AX developer with over 7 years experience within the AX market. I have experience developing in AX 4, 2009 and 2012 and I have worked on award winning and multinational projects. Currently I work for Hitachi Solutions as a senior AX developer. Previously I worked at Columbus as a member of their development team, where I was their SME in SSRS reports and  I was Bottomline’s lead support consultant in EMEA for our Dynamics product set. Additionally I have used the Lasernet and Create!form product set to produce reports outside of AX.

Outside of work, when free time allows, I enjoy researching and developing modifications to AX. I developed an integration in to Google maps API, which allowed the AX user route planning and visualisation along with load planning. I also run this to assist the AX development community.

I am also pretty nutty about my motor sport, with F1 and rally being particular favourites. I have a few lapsed hobbies, which I hope to resurrect when I get a bit more time . I once managed to get a few photos I took in to a national publication, which was a nice feather in my cap. For my sins I am also a avid Manchester United fan.

Here is my LinkedIn page should you wish to connect. I also post on the Dynamics AX community and Dynamics user group forums. If you have any issues that you think I could help with feel free to ask.  For recruiters please see my LinkedIn page by my CV can be found here.
